It started, like most good things, almost by accident. The ritual mattered more than the result, in the end. There were false starts, of course, and no shortage of doubt.
What surprised me most was how little it took to begin. It wasn’t always easy, and I won’t pretend that it was. I’m still learning, but that, I think, is the whole point.
