I didn’t expect the open desert to change much. I was wrong. I kept expecting to lose interest, and somehow never did. Slowly, it stopped feeling like effort and started feeling like mine.
What surprised me most was how little it took to begin. The ritual mattered more than the result, in the end. If you have been putting it off, perhaps this is your sign.
