Nobody warns you how much the long search can sneak up on you. Slowly, it stopped feeling like effort and started feeling like mine. The ritual mattered more than the result, in the end.
Looking back, it was the small moments that stayed with me. What surprised me most was how little it took to begin. I’m still learning, but that, I think, is the whole point.
