Nobody warns you how much our devices can sneak up on you. What surprised me most was how little it took to begin. It wasn’t always easy, and I won’t pretend that it was.
Looking back, it was the small moments that stayed with me. There were false starts, of course, and no shortage of doubt. These days I can’t quite imagine going back.
