I didn’t expect digital clutter to change much. I was wrong. What surprised me most was how little it took to begin. The ritual mattered more than the result, in the end.
It wasn’t always easy, and I won’t pretend that it was. There were false starts, of course, and no shortage of doubt. These days I can’t quite imagine going back.
